January 8, 2011 Monthly Meeting-Sharon Tate Moody, Guest Speaker

The meeting starts at 10 a.m. and is open to anyone interested in genealogy at the Latter Day Saints church midway on Fort King Road midway between Dade City and Zephyrhills. This month is a very special guest, Sharon Tate Moody. She is a nationally known genealogy speaker. Sharon's presentation is "Speaking From the Grave".
There will be refreshments served at the midpoint of the meeting. The meeting lasts until noon.

Here is a little information about Sharon and some of her accomplishments:
Sharon is a retired law enforcement officer who brings a unique perspective to finding
evidence, proving relationships, and applying the law to solve research problems. Her
contributions to the genealogical community are extensive, including serving as
President of the Georgia Genealogical Society, and founding Trustee of the Friends of
the Georgia Archives. She is well known for her informative presentations at national
and state conferences and for her popular weekly column, “Heritage Hunting,” in the
Tampa, Florida, Tribune. Sharon is an alumnus of the Samford University Institute of
Genealogical Research (IGHR) and the national Institute of Genealogical Research
(NIGR).
