So Folks do Find Folks using DNA testing

For most of us, DNA testing is more expense than genealogy software and even harder to understand. For most people they are provided with broad (wild) generalities that their ancestors were in a section of one continent or maybe another.

There are a few stories of making connections. There was an article in the
Washington Post, What We're Made Of, by Frances Stead Sellers, an Health Section editor, and her positive experience. Here again, your free registration with the newspaper is require to view the article.

Frances has done her old fashion genealogy back in time and has collected historical perspectives of many of her ancestors. She also is a little critical of the linear nature of DNA-Genealogy.

The article is written in an understandable language with minimal use of DNA terminology.
