The Soldier in later Medieval England

Did you know that there is a database to check to see if your later Medieval English soldier ancestor is listed? And what else they have on him. This is for the period 1369 to 1453 A.D.

It is called the Soldier in Later Medieval England. It is a pilot database at the University of Southampton that was begun in October of 2006 and is now open for public searching.

Try some of your Anglo-ancestors or at least there surnames. The above link is hot. The URL is medievalsoldier.org.

I searched Bryan and got many hits. I even searched Sanchez and got two hits on the same person.
