Putting Search Engines to Work

Google this. Ask Jeeves that. Have you Yahoo’d today? Did you forget to check Librarything and Worldcat? Confused? Lost on the Information Highway?

Our February speaker, Drew Smith, will explain how to use search engines more effectively and help you make better use of your valuable research time!

Drew Smith is a nationally known genealogy speaker from Odessa, Florida and co-host of the popular Genealogy Guys Podcast. He is also the current President of the Florida Genealogical Society—Tampa. Drew’s presentations are well received and you will enjoy his easy going manner and rapport with the group. His diverse knowledge of searching methods will certainly answer many of your questions.

The Pasco County Genealogical Society (PCGS) will conduct their monthly meeting on Saturday February 9 at 10:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter Day Saints at 9016 Fort King Road, Dade City, FL.
