Have you found documents in LATIN?

If you have found documents in Latin, it isn't unusual. It isn't just the Roman Catholic Church records, but the English Church records and even some parts the Canadian census.

The Genealogy Guys podcast [Drew Smith & George Morgan] pointed out a place for help. There are some tutorials offered by the National Archives of the UK (or type into your browser: www.nationalarchives.gov.uk/gettingstarted/in_depth_guides.htm). Their show notes leave much to be desired.

My last "Latin" problem was with the baptismal records from St. Augustine. The early records are mostly in Spanish, but then suddenly the next record in the book is in Latin, and then it reverts to Spanish without warning.
